We like to use different mediums to explore shape and movement. Below are animations and tests we made over the years.

The Digger

Using five different colours of tape we created the illusion of a 3 dimensional digger.

Whale Test

The goal of this experiment was to create an animation that would only be recognized in motion. Using tape we distilled the animal and its surroundings down to the bare minimum.

Don’t Believe the Tape

For the "Don't believe the type"-exhibition in the Ship-of-fools-galery (The Hague, the Netherlands) I made this video.

It's a short stopmotion animation made with adhesive tape on the kitchen window, mostly executed by my intern Kazuma during fall 2009.
